Terms

What you commit to, and what we commit to

The rules of the account, written to be read. They apply from the moment it is opened, and the date of their last change appears at the top of this page.

What this document governs

These terms govern the opening and use of an account with us: holding the account, transfers, cards, savings and credit. They are accepted at registration, and the accepted version is timestamped and kept — you can always know which text you said yes to.

Who may open an account

Any natural person of full age, or any legal entity through its representative, residing in an area we serve. Opening is subject to verification of your identity: an account exists from registration, but movements of funds wait for that verification to succeed.

What you owe us

Accurate information, kept up to date. The keeping of your secrets: your password and your PIN are not to be lent, and we will never ask you for them by e-mail or by telephone. Lawful use of the account. You tell us without delay about any operation you do not recognise.

What we owe you

To carry out your orders in accordance with these terms, within the stated times. To tell you why when we refuse. To give you a receipt for every settled movement, downloadable for as long as your account is open. To write to you in the language you have chosen.

Fees

The fee schedule appears in full on the pricing page, and what is not on it is not charged. A change of fee is announced to you before it applies. Credit rates depend on your file and are shown to you before any commitment.

Transfers and their refusal

An outgoing transfer is checked before it leaves: funds, limits, IBAN format, consistency of the beneficiary. A refusal is given a reason. The funds of a pending transfer are held, not debited; if it is abandoned or rejected, the hold is released.

Suspension and closure

You may close your account at any time, once its balance has been returned to you: an account holding money cannot be closed. We may suspend access in case of serious suspicion, legal obligation or breach of these terms, and we give you the reason as soon as the law allows.

Complaint, mediation and applicable law

A complaint is addressed to us first, through the channels shown on the dedicated page. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the banking mediator, free of charge. These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the protective rules of your country of habitual residence.
