A bank built the other way round

Most banking software starts from the screens and adds the rules afterwards. We started from what must never happen, and drew the screens on top.

An account balance is not an opinion: it is the sum of entries, each carrying its reference, its moment and the name of whoever approved it. Nothing moves it by another route, and that is enforced by the database rather than promised by the code.

We serve ten languages, entirely. Not ten codes in a switcher with half the wording missing: every screen, every e-mail and every receipt exists in each of them, and a test refuses to ship a language that is not complete.

None of this makes us bigger than we are. We are a small team, and the way we work is the only advantage a small team has: fewer places where something can go wrong without anyone noticing.

The rules

What the database guarantees, not a button

A negative balance, a second main account, an active card that was never approved: the engine turns them down. Not a condition somebody could forget to write.
An audit line names who acted, when, and from where, and it cannot be erased by the person it names — the database refuses that too.

No paperwork to print, no branch to visit. You will need an identity document and a proof of address.
